OSHA 10 Hour General Industry

OSHA safety manufacturing workerThe OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Training course seminar by EnPro Learning System is intended to teach front-line employees and supervisors to make their work areas safe by anticipating potential workplace injury triggers, knowing when to alert supervisors to injury risks, mitigate injury triggers in their work areas, and stop the most frequent worksite issues. During the two-day OSHA 10-Hour Training, participants will learn about:

  • Fire Prevention, Basic Fire Suppression and Emergency Exits

  • Warnings and Communications
  • Causes and Prevention of MSD and RMD Injuries
  • Chemical Materials Data Sheets (MDS)
  • Specific Considerations for Dipping/Coating, Spray Finishing, Flammable Liquids and Compressed Gases
  • Safe Guarding Machine Equipment
  • Chronic and Acute Health Ailments
  • Basic First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens
  • EAP & FPP
  • Ergonomics


Safety leaders, safety managers, safety committee members and other employees who are involved in workplace safety may attend this overview OSHA 10-Hour safety course. This training course is required for workers in certain job functions in the states of New York, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Missouri, and Nevada.

EnPro Learning System is an approved provider for OSHA 10-Hour and OSHA 30-Hour training courses. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate and official OSHA 10-Hour wallet card.
